Class of 2021
The class of 2021 is going to have a very different senior year experience. The class of 2020 had to end their senior years at home, without the typical graduation ceremony. This year many seniors may not even see the inside of their high school. Sports seasons are already being cancelled. The arts programs won't be able to conduct their usual shows and competitions. Students that are in school have to maintain distance from their friends. There is still a chance that schools could completely shut down again if we see a spike in the virus this flue season.
While the school year might not be the same, and they might not get to have those same experiences as seniors before them, I hope the students get to celebrate what they have achieved. Senior year is a big deal for these kids and I hope they find a way to enjoy this chapter of their lives.
I had a great time with Rylee during our session. I actually met Rylee over 10 years ago. She is the niece of one of my close friends. She is now 17 and heading into her senior year. I cannot believe how much time as passed! I hope Rylee and the rest of her class have a great senior year, regardless of how different it is this year.
